COSIMO 1

The first version of the database, COSIMO 1, comprises data on national and international conflicts from 1945 to 1998 (version 1.3). It was developed in a research project led by Prof. Dr. Frank R. Pfetsch at the University of Heidelberg in 1991.

You can download the dataset as xls or csv. The additional codemanual is available at following link as doc.

Please note that the methodology used for this first database is slightly different from the methodology used today (Method until 2002).
